US Department of State Revises Fees: US Department of State Authentications office in Washington DC has revised the fees for Authentications and Apostilles from $ 8 per document to $ 20 per document effective July 15th, 2021.
As per the notice, the fees will be charged for all rejections and for documents that are not ready to be processed if they are submitted incorrectly to the department.
This is major change from the earlier policy since a rejection of multiple documents if submitted wrong to the department can lead to forfeiture of entire fees paid for those documents.
